A few days ago, we reported that build 9364 of Windows 8.1, also known as Windows Blue, was being passed around on private torrent trackers. Now it appears that an even more recent, but still early build of Windows 8.1, has found their way to the Internet.
While screenshots of the build, which has the version number 9374, started popping up on the Internet a few days ago, a new post on the WinForum.eu message boards claims that the build's system32 contents and the boot.wim have now been leaked, which would appear to confirm that the screenshots are in fact real.
Even though though build has not been fully released, unlike the leaked Windows Blue build 9364 that got released to the Internet a few weeks ago, the screenshot shows it has been labeled as "Windows 8.1 Pro Preview". This could show evidence that Microsoft is in fact planning to launch a free preview version of Windows 8.1 before the final commercial launch sometime later this year.
Microsoft is expected to reveal much more information on Windows 8.1 at the June's BUILD conference in San Fransisco. The public preview of Windows 8.1 will almost certainly be made available around that time.
