Xbox One Insider Preview build 15063.3033 is available in the Alpha ring - here's what's new

If you're one of the lucky few to be part of the Preview Alpha ring of the Xbox Insider Program, it's once again time to check for updates. Build 15063.3033 is available, and it comes in at 425MB. The build string is rs2_release_xbox_1705.170424-1701, which means that it's a preview of version 1705 and it was compiled on April 24.

There aren't any new features specific to this build, but there is one fix:

  • Store
Fixed an issue which prevented users from accessing the Store when the console is set to one of the following language and region configurations: English (Greece), English (Czech Republic), English (Hungary), English (Slovakia).

It's good that the Store issue got fixed, since it's been on the known issues list for some time. There is still one known issue:

  • Home

Certain content is sometimes missing when Home loads.

Oddly enough, the last build, 15063.3030, listed a known issue that had to do with Minecraft, and today, that's not listed as fixed or a remaining issue.

There is also some good news for members of the Preview Beta ring. Microsoft's Brad Rossetti says that this build is a candidate for Beta users, so assuming that there are no major showstoppers, they should finally see a 1705 Insider Preview tomorrow at 6pm Pacific Time.

As usual, if you're on Preview Ring 3 or 4, you'll have to wait a little bit longer. The version number indicates that it will be finalized in May, so everyone should have it within the next month.
