Today, Microsoft posted its latest Flight Simulator development update, and while the team promised to keep it brief, there are a few key bits of information. Most importantly, more invitations are rolling out to try out the Alpha, so if you've been signed up for a while and haven't heard anything yet, keep an eye on your inbox.
Also, Flight Simulator Alpha 4 is going to roll out one week from today, on June 11. Unsurprisingly, that's also when the team will publish the release notes. According to the development roadmap, Alpha 5 will be released in early July, followed by a closed beta in mid-July. During that time, there will be various partnership announcements.
The last major Flight Simulator build was released on May 14, followed by a patch a couple of weeks later. The last big update came with the ability to fly a Boeing 747, making it only the second jet to be included in the game after the Airbus A320.
