Microsoft Support adds a new section dedicated to mobile devices

Microsoft has recently added a dedicated section for help and support about mobile devices on its Microsoft Support site. The Mobile devices help & learning site offers resources around Microsoft’s mobile efforts and apps and services for Android and iOS.

The site has information about Your Phone and the partnership between Microsoft and Samsung that enables Samsung Galaxy smartphones to have additional capabilities when it comes to Microsoft products. It also has guidance to set up mobile apps and email on your smartphone as well as about the Office experience. You can read articles around these topics as well as ask questions via the Microsoft Community forums .

The name of the section might confuse many, but the site does not refer to ‘devices’ – certainly not any Microsoft hardware - but only mobile experiences including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft To Do, Your Phone, and Microsoft Launcher..

After wrapping up Windows 10 Mobile, Microsoft has been aggressively working on mobile and cross-device experiences for a lateral push in the mobile ecosystem. The company now has a plethora of products and services for both Android and iOS platforms.
