There are two HP Discover conferences every year, one in the North America territories, the other in Europe. We've been covering the conference in Vegas the past couple of years and providing our readers with the latest in storage, security, big data, and other topics related to the enterprise.
Next month, HP is kicking off their Discover conference in Barcelona, Spain, and we'll be there to provide you with all of the latest news in enterprise technology. It'll be interesting to hear not only about HP's server advancements, but also their evolution of cloud computing and big data, two topics that have been growing in importance over the past few years.
Although the conference officially kicks off on the 10th, there are some interesting pre-events that we hope to attend. One of the highlights revolves around storage, and the tagline is "Changing Nothing Risks Everything." The sneak preview indicates that HP plans on having a big storage announcement and they produced a pretty cool video teaser that merges elements of The Matrix and Star Wars to tell a stressed out sysadmin, Marty, that the change is needed to tame the complexities of the enterprise.
