Microsoft adds two more games to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Microsoft today added two more games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list, which contains a combination of Xbox and Xbox 360 games that are playable on the company's latest generation of gaming consoles. Today's additions were both originally made for the Xbox 360, including Brütal Legend and Greg Hastings Paintball 2.

The company typically adds new games to the list on Tuesdays. For example, last week it added Rumble Roses XX and Zone of the Elders HD Collection.

Brütal Legend ($14.99)

Brütal Legend is an action game from the mind of Tim Schafer. Eddie Riggs, a roadie chosen by the Rock Gods and played by Jack Black, must battle through a heavy metal fantasy world to save humanity and slay demons — using only a broad axe, his guitar Clementine, and an army of metal heads.

Greg Hastings Paintball 2 (not available for purchase)

Dive into authentic paintball action from Greg Hastings--the #1 name in the sport. Create an unstoppable team of real players, load up on revolutionary new gear and guns, and brave the unpredictable elements in 62 massive fields based on real locations around the world.

Also, if you're looking for new games on the cheap then you should be claiming your monthly Games with Gold, which offers four free games every month to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. As of right now, you can grab Prison Architect: Xbox One Edition (Xbox One) and Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World (Xbox 360), and you've got until October 15 to claim Livelock (Xbox One).
