Nvidia shows off Windows RT on video

Nvidia has posted up a video on its YouTube channel that shows off the ASUS Windows RT Tablet 600 in action. The video shows briefly what the upcoming platform will offer and for those who need a refresher, Windows RT is WOA and will only be available to OEM partners.

The device is running on Nvidia's Tegra 3 platform and as Nvidia pushes to become a key supplier in the industry for WOA tablets, expect to see the Nvidia marketing train turn its full attention to this emerging market segment.

The form factor we see in the video is quickly becoming a hot commodity as several other vendors have shown off their interpretation of how the touchscreen and the traditional laptop can be blended to get the most out of Windows 8. It is definitely a new approach to the traditional form factors but if we don't push boundaries, innovation will fall flat.

Take a look at the video as this is Microsoft's tablet OS in action and it will be put to the test against the industry juggernaut, the iPad.
