OnePlus 7 Pro unboxing and first impressions: It's a real flagship

Announced at an event in Manhattan on Tuesday, the OnePlus 7 Pro goes above and beyond what we've come to expect from the company. This handset is ready to compete with the big guys.

It has a 6.62-inch 1440p 90Hz display, and the refresh rate makes the display delightful. Also, the higher resolution is a departure from the typical 1080p panels that OnePlus has used. But perhaps most importantly, there is no notch.

The front of the device appears to be all screen, and the reason that you can't see a front-facing camera is because it pops up from the top. All you have to do is open the front camera, and it pops up in 0.53 seconds.

It also packs a triple-lens camera, with the main sensor at a 48-megapixel resolution and f/1.6 aperture. There's another 8MP 3x zoom lens, and a 16MP wide-angle lens. It's an impressive device, focusing on both the camera and the display, two things that are incredibly important in modern smartphones.

OnePlus also sent over its new Bullets Wireless 2 earbuds and the Warp Car Charger. Check out the unboxing video below:
