OnePlus has earned a great reputation in the past few years for its ability to deliver what users want. And while it may be trying to reposition itself from a company that caters to enthusiasts only to a brand that creates products for everyone, OnePlus appears to be retaining some of its old business strategies. The company is again asking users to participate in the development of what the company calls a "perfect OxygenOS."
OnePlus invites users to join the online Open Ears Forums(OEF) to shape the company's "most important OS updates." No one knows what that means, but the fact that it's promising to make OxygenOS 13 a "perfect" OS for OnePlus phones sounds exciting.
OnePlus has started the application process, and you have seven days to decide whether you want to participate in the development of OxygenOS 13. In its forum post, the company has mentioned that the application process will be closed on February 18. The event will happen on February 28, 13:30 - 15:30 CEST.
If you're using a OnePlus phone and want to become one of the 15 luckiest members who'll share their valuable feedback with the OS development team, you can join the online OEF by providing your email ID and your OnePlus community username. You're also required to answer whether you're comfortable signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement if you're shortlisted to join OEF.
This is not the first time OnePlus is asking for user feedback to work on updates. In fact, many of the current features in OxygenOS 12 were included based on what most of the users asked the company to add. The company appears to be doing the same thing prior to the development of the OxygenOS 13.
