Rayman Origins demo released for the 3DS

For those of you who haven’t had the chance to play the excellent platformer Rayman Origins, Ubisoft have let us know that the demo for the 3DS version of the game has been released on the Nintendo eShop.

The demo contains levels such as 'Winging Caves', 'Playing in the Shade' and 'Shooting Me Softly' and the really good news is that the demo comes with no time limits, so you can keep exploring whenever you want.

Rayman Origins for the Nintendo 3DS has a number of unique features only available on the handheld console such as StreetPass allowing you to share your scores and collectables along with a few touch screen additions similar to those seen in the PlayStation Vita version of the game.

Here are the main features of Rayman Origins on the Nintendo 3DS:

  • StreetPass™ Functionality: Taking advantage of StreetPass, you can share your progression, number of collectibles, time played, unlocked achievements, and avatar with others.
  • Epic Boss Fights: A giant pink monster with hundreds of eyes... A possessed, mountainous golem... An evil daisy-cum-carnivorous plant... Rayman Origins will put players to the test with these and many more challenging boss battles!
  • A Vast Playground: Rayman Origins includes over 60 levels of 2D platforming gameplay designed for all ages and playing styles. Unlock new abilities progressively and return to previous levels to discover new paths and secrets.
