After it launched Project Catalyst last year to help developers bring iPad apps to macOS, Apple is now making it so that you can buy an app on either platform and own it for both automatically.

Having withdrawn its Mac app nearly two years ago, Twitter has now brought back support for Apple's desktop operating system by using Project Catalyst to port its iOS app to macOS Catalina.

Apple announced Project Catalyst earlier this year. The project helps port iOS apps to macOS. However, the project is reportedly off to a slow start, with developers terming it "not that easy".
