The Splatoon 2 Global Testfire event is now underway

Although we reported on this last month, Splatoon 2 will be holding its Global Testfire event starting today. While one of the sessions has already been played, there are still plenty more to take advantage of during the weekend.

Splatoon was a huge success on the Wii U, so it comes as no surprise that Nintendo has already produced a sequel to the 2015 game. The first person shooter offers quite a few unique twists, but is still simple enough to understand by playing for a couple of minutes.

If you want to participate in the test event, you can download the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire game from the Nintendo Switch eShop. Since times will vary, you will want to check your local regions test sessions, which can be done by heading to the news tab on your Switch. If in the US, times are listed below.

  • March 24: 12-12:59pm PT, 8-8:59pm PT
  • March 25: 4-4:59am PT, 12-12:59pm PT, 8-8:59pm PT
  • March 26: 4-4:59am PT

If you can't make it to any of the sessions above, Splatoon 2 will arrive in its official form sometime this summer.
