Humble Tropico anniversary bundle promo

The Tropico series of city building and management games where you play 'El Presidente' of a Caribbean island chain are in a Humble Bundle again. This time, entries from the third game forward are included alongside a selection of DLC.

The $1 tier begins the bundle with a copy of Tropico 3: Gold Edition. Funnily enough, the beat the average tier is the same price as the third and final tier, so we might as well jump to that one. For putting down $12, you get copies of Tropico 4 and Tropico 5 complete editions, Tropico 6, plus four DLC packs for it.

11 days are left on this bundle before it expires. Keep in mind the impressive VR bundle, with titles like Until you Fall and A Fisherman's Tale, from last week still has time left on its promotion too.

Before we get to the next section, over on Fanatical there's a cool little Showcase Bundle touting six games that include Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, Torchlight, Orwell: Keeping an Eye On You, and more for $3.99. The store is also hosting a Square Enix build-your-own-bundle special where you can grab five games for $9.99, with its innards containing Deus Ex titles, Sleeping Dogs, Just Cause, and more.

Epic Games' latest giveaway is for a returning freebie, with Team17's The Escapists taking over the duties from last week's Speed Brawl and Tharsis double giveaways. It's a returning freebie, so you might own it already.

The title is a prison break sandbox with multiple scenarios to pass through. Engineering an escape, which can involve riots, tunnels, and other methods, means avoiding guards while collecting needed materials while also sticking to regular prison routines to avoid suspicion.

The Escapists is free to claim until Thursday, September 30, with the Paradox grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV coming up as the next freebie.

Star Citizen free fly promo

In a rare event, free weekends are absent from all major stores right now. The only event going on is Cloud Imperium Games' latest Star Citizen Free Fly promotion. The in-development space sandbox is currently offering complete access to its latest Alpha build and four ships until September 27.
