New details reveal RTX 2080 Ti will have 4,352 CUDA cores, RTX 2080 with 2,944 CUDA cores

The wait is almost over, as Nvidia will hold an event next week at which it will reportedly reveal its next-generation graphics cards.

Before the official reveal, the folks at VideoCardz have uncovered more information regarding the upcoming RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti. The GeForce RTX 2080 Ti will pack 11GB and 352-bit of memory, just like its predecessor, the GTX 1080 Ti. What makes the RTX 2080 Ti different is that it will have GDDR6 memory that is clocked at 14Gbps, which should increase the maximum bandwidth. The new card will also have 4,352 CUDA cores. The website also has details on the GeForce RTX 2080, stating that it will arrive as an 8GB 256-bit model, with the card offering 2,944 CUDA cores.

We previously reported on a dual fan model of the upcoming card, but it looks like MSI could release a couple cards offering up three fans. The first model will be called the 'GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO' and the second model simply named the 'GeForce RTX DUKE'. Naturally, there should be more information to come as we get that much closer to the official reveal date.

Luckily, we won't have to wait long to find out just how much better these cards are when applied to real-world graphics and computations.
