Max Payne targets GBA

Rockstar Games announces that a GBA version is currently in development and is scheduled for release before the end of 2003.

Rockstar Games has today announced that a Game Boy Advance version of Max Payne is currently in development and is scheduled for release in North America on December 16. The game is based on the original PC and console action title of the same name, and will comprise 10 levels filled with New York City's most sinister inhabitants. A number of popular features from the original Max Payne game will feature in the GBA version, including the 'bullet time' slow motion gunplay technique, and the graphic novel-style intermissions that tell the game's twisted story. As players progress through the game they'll gain access to an arsenal of around eight different weapons, although more specific details have not been released at this time.
