OxygenOS Open Beta 4 is now live for the OnePlus 5T

OnePlus announced on its forums on Friday that Open Beta 4 would be rolling out for the OnePlus 5T. Now, the update has finally gone live and is being distributed over-the-air (OTA).

The update, which arrives at 1,667MB, offers quite a bit in terms of features, including a new gaming mode. The Phone app now can allow users to auto answer a call just by raising the handset and OnePlus has also added a "global roaming solution". The ambient display also receives something new, with the firm now including more clock styles. The full-screen gesture support that was added in Open Beta 3 has now been further optimized.

Not only did OnePlus update the OS from Android 8.0 to Android 8.1 but it also adds security updates for the month of February. If interested in the beta for the OnePlus 5T or any other supported phone from the company, be sure to head to its website for further details on how to download and flash your handset.
