If you've been looking for a reason to upgrade your current e-reader, Amazon's latest sale on the Kindle Paperwhite devices may be good news for you. The company is running discounts on both storage options of this eReader.
The Kindle Paperwhite 8GB is currently $45 off, which is now $84.99 instead of $129.99, but it's only available in Black or Twilight Blue. You can get $55 off the 32GB model, making it $104.99 instead of $159.99 and as of writing, all colors are available at that price. The Paperwhite was last refreshed in 2018, and there is no sign of it getting replaced anytime soon, but the current 10th-gen model already has some niceties, including the fact that it's waterproof and houses a 300ppi screen that should be pretty sharp for your reading needs. It also includes Kindle Unlimited for three months.
The downside to these prices is that you'll need to have Amazon's Special Offers - in other words, ads - on your lock screen. You can still get discounts on the variants without Special Offers, but they will be $20 more. You can also earn an additional $20 off with an eligible Trade-in.
