Ori and the Will of the Wisps slated for 2019 release, gets new gameplay trailer

At E3 last year, Microsoft teased the upcoming Ori and the Will of the Wisps - sequel to the critically acclaimed Ori and the Blind Forest. Today, at its E3 2018 press briefing, the company has announced that the game will be launched in 2019. A new trailer featuring gameplay footage has been released as well.

The description of the trailer reads as follows:

From the creators of the multi-award winning "Ori and the Blind Forest" comes the highly anticipated sequel: "Ori and the Will of the Wisps.” Embark on an adventure with all new combat and customization options while exploring a vast, exotic world encountering larger than life enemies and challenging puzzles. Seek help from discoverable allies on your path to unravel Ori's true destiny.

The side-scrolling platformer will be an "Xbox One X Enhanced, Xbox Play Anywhere title", launching exclusively for Xbox One and Windows 10. More information about the upcoming game can be viewed here.
