Samsung shows off multi-player Android gaming across phone, tablet and TV

Samsung is demonstrating a working version of multi-player games at CES this week that interact with each other across phone, tablet and TV.

The games, all running on Android, allow end users to play whilst they're travelling or using a tablet. Users can compete against friends who are sitting in their own living room. Samsung announced a wide range of smart TVs this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The new range brings an Android powered TV straight into consumers living rooms.

Android allows application developers to scale their apps up to TV resolutions and keep them functioning well on phone and tablet devices. At Samsung's booth during CES, the company is demonstrating a few games that it has planned for its phones, tablets and TVs. Neowin got a quick hands on to show how these work across all devices seamlessly. Microsoft has previously spoken about "three screens and the cloud" and Samsung appears to have realised this vision and put it straight into practice using Google's Android operating system.
