Sine Mora EX arrives to the Nintendo Switch this summer

A month after the launch of the Nintendo Switch, the firm has revealed more details about its upcoming titles for the console with its Direct video stream. While there were the expected titles like ARMS and Splatoon 2, Nintendo also dedicated some of its resources to focus on smaller titles like Sine Mora EX.

Sine Mora EX is a port of Sine Mora, a title that was released a few years ago for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC. It is a side-scrolling shooter that offers beautiful backgrounds that are rendered in 3D. While shooter titles often rely on lives or a health bar, Sine Mora EX is different, in that it relies on a timer to keep the player alive. To better explain this, when a level starts, there is a countdown timer at the top of the screen, showing how much time a player has to complete the level. When a player shoots and destroys enemies, time will be added to the counter, but taking damage will have the reverse effect. Although Nintendo has not released pricing for the title, it is slated to arrive sometime in the summer of 2017.
