Weekend PC Game Deals: Packed bundles, reimagined classics, and more

Humble Choice March

With another month has dropped another Humble Choice. Following the latest bundle revamp that arrived at the service last month, all games in the selection are presented to subscribers, without needing to pick and choose.

It's a packed pile of games this time. You get copies of Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Desperados 3, Nickelodeon All Star Brawl, The Dark Pictures: Man Of Medan, Chicken Police, Nebuchadnezzar, Police Stories, and Evan's Remains.

Only Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a non-Steam game here, with its activation available via Origin or the EA PC launcher.

To get all eight of these games, you will need to put down $11.99. Subscribers also gain access to the Humble Games Collection of DRM-free titles (from a separate launcher), plus a slowly deepening Humble Store discount.

Humble Heroines Bundle

Humble was not done with new bundles this week though, with it also introducing the Heroines collection featuring another hit-filled selection.

This three-tiered bundle begins with a copy of Tacoma. Going up a step to the $12 tier adds on Gears 5, Celeste, and Cloudpunk. The bundle finishes off big with copies of Scarlet Nexus, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and Severed Steel, all for $20 in the third and final tier.

If shooters with classic 90s-style gameplay are more your cup of tea, don't forget to checkout Humble's Best of Boomer Shooters bundle either.

This carries Hellbound for $1, which is joined by Project Warlock and Hedon Bloodrite in the average price tier. Paying the full $12 nets you Dusk, Amid Evil, Ion Fury, Dread Templar, and Hrot, plus a couple of coupons for Ultrakill and Prodeus.

Just over two weeks remain on these bundles' expiry counters, so there is plenty of time for you to deliberate. Don't forget about Sid Meier’s Ultimate Collection and VR Discovery bundles of humble running right now either.

Centipede and Black Widow Recharged are free on Epic

It's time for the weekly freebies, and Epic Games Store this time dropped some arcade classics that have received a new coat of paint recently. These reimagined versions of Centipede and Black Widow replaced Cris Tales from last week.

The two classics are originally from the early 80s, but now in their 'Recharged' forms, they sport features like upgraded visuals, 16:9 display support, optimized controls, online leaderboards, brand new soundtracks, and more.

Centipede: Recharged and Black Widow: Recharged will be free for you to claim until March 10, and coming up next is a copy of the hit city builder Cities: Skylines on the same date. If you're a Dauntless player, Epic is also throwing in a premium bundle for you as a weekly reward too.

Big Deals

You'll find our big deals list of highlights below, which is populated by plenty of weekend specials happening right now. It's the Remote Play Together sale on Steam that's pulling most of the weight this time, so you'll bump into quite a few cooperative play-supported games:

DRM-free Goodness

If it's DRM-free deals that are in your mind, then the highlights below from GOG's classic collections should be what you're looking for:

Keep in mind that availability and pricing for some deals may vary depending on the region you're in.

And that's it for our pick of this weekend's PC game deals everyone, and hopefully, some of you have enough self-restraint not to break the bank adding new games to your ever-growing backlogs. Of course, there are an enormous number of other deals ready and waiting if you comb through the interwebs hard enough, so keep your eyes open for those, and have a great weekend.
