WhatsApp has announced the availability of the WhatsApp Business app on iPhone. The launch comes more than a year after the Android version was launched. According to the firm, small business owners have been frequently requesting that the app be launched on the platform and from today they’ll be able to manage their business affairs on iOS.
With the WhatsApp Business app for iOS, businesses can create a unique profile to share useful information including a description of the firm, its email address and store addresses, and its website. Businesses can easily connect with customers with effective messaging tools such as quick replies which give answers to frequently asked questions, greeting messages can be used to introduce customers to your business, and away messages will let your customers know when you can reply to them while you’re away.
Lastly, if you prefer to work from a computer in your workplace, you can connect your WhatsApp Business app to WhatsApp Web so you can manage conversations and send files right from your desktop.
The app is available from the App Store in Brazil, Germany, Indonesia, India, Mexico, the U.K., and the U.S. from today and will roll out to other markets around the world in the coming weeks.
