During E3 2017, Nyko introduced an array of products geared towards the Nintendo Switch. Over the past few months, the firm has been making these accessories available through retail channels and now has released its own Kick Stand for the console.
Those that own a Switch will know how bad the kickstand is on the device and Nyko seems to have a solution. According to the firm's product description, this product will provide your unit with extra support while in tabletop mode and the metal design is meant to provide a sturdier experience. The kickstand also has the ability to house an extra microSD card and can be installed without the use of tools.
Although it seems like an interesting concept, there is only so much space allotted for the kickstand and since it can't be repositioned freely, the metal kickstand seems like it might have the same issues as the original. While this remains to be seen, the Nyko Kick Stand is now available at the firm's website and also GameStop.
