Sigil Games Online announced today that one of the original designers of EverQuest, Ryan Palacio, has accepted the position of Senior Game Designer to begin work immediately on Sigil's massively multiplayer game Vanguard: Saga of Heroes." Ryan joins a number of his former teammates already at Sigil, including Milo Cooper, Steve Clover, Mike Hutchins and Brad McQuaid. Palacio joined 989/Verant in 1997, worked with the original "EverQuest" team, and is best known for being integral in the population and balancing of early high level content, including Bottom Guk and Solusek B. He also contributed to the expansions EverQuest: The Ruins of Kunark and EverQuest: Scars of Velious. Ryan has also worked with Sony Online Entertainment on EverQuest 2 and Star Wars: Galaxies.
