Strike Force: Red Cell gets a publisher

Strike Force: Red Cell, the UT2004 mod offshoot from Vision Studios has now secured a publisher for the game. The game will be released sometime in 2006 (though if you look closely 2007 is mentioned as well) for both the PC and the Xbox 360 through Graffiti Entertainment.

Strike Force: Red Cell is a standard FPS game where you play as either a Counter-Terrorist or Terrorist in "real planned terrorist event" scenerios. The game will have a single player campaign and up to 12 multiplayer maps along with 12 unique weapons. A Location based damage model will be used, along with dismemberment. The game is going to use the Reality Engine, which was bought by Epic last year and promises stunning visuals and highly detailed enviroments, characters and vehicles.
