Apple announced more than 600 new apps will be available when the Vision Pro is released on February 2. The headset features a 3D interface that can be accessed through eye tracking and gestures.

Samsung, Google, and Qualcomm are teaming up to develop an XR headset with advanced features, including smell integration, and a 3,000 ppi display. It could be unveiled at LSI Tech Day on Oct 5.

Qualcomm unveiled today a reference design headset based on its Snapdragon XR2 platform introduced in December 2019. The reference headset has twice the CPU and GPU performance and more improvements.
