Tesla looking to expand all-in-one solution that will include insurance and maintenance

Tesla has been advancing automotive technology for nearly a decade and while that might sound like a long time, it is actually still in its infancy when compared to other automotive manufacturers. This doesn't discount what the company has accomplished over the years and it appears that the firm is moving towards an all-in-one package when it sells its vehicles in the future.

According to Tesla, an all-in-one solution would mean that whatever price you pay for your Tesla vehicle, it would also include maintenance costs and auto insurance. While this may sound a bit ambitious, the firm disclosed that they are already offering such a solution with vehicles that are being sold in Asia. Although auto insurance can be a bit tricky, Tesla would find partners to work with and, if agreements could not be met, the firm is willing to create a solution of its own.

While Teslas have traditionally been quite costly, the company plans to offer its first "affordable" vehicle, the Model 3, sometime this year. The Model 3 was unveiled earlier last year and was quite popular with close to 300,000 reservations in its first week. The Model 3 will be priced starting at $35,000.
