Games with Gold: Battlefield 1 and Assassin's Creed are now free

Less than a day has passed since Microsoft revealed the free Games with Gold titles for November, and already the first wave is available to claim through the Microsoft Store. EA's popular WWI shooter Battlefield 1 for the Xbox One and Ubisoft's original Assassin's Creed for the Xbox 360 that began the franchise are now free to claim for Xbox Live Gold members.

As usual, the Xbox 360 game is also playable on the Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility.

Here are the store links of the two games to claim right away:

Battlefield 1 (Xbox One)

Experience the dawn of all-out war in Battlefield™ 1. Discover a world at war through an adventure-filled campaign, or join in epic multiplayer battles with up to 64 players. Fight as infantry or take control of amazing vehicles on land, air and sea, and adapt your gameplay to the most dynamic battles in Battlefield history.

Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360, Xbox One)

1191 AD. The Third Crusade is tearing the Holy Land apart. You are Altair, a Master Assassin sent to kill corrupted leaders profiting from the war. As you carry out your missions, you find yourself tangled up in a conflict that threatens not only the Holy Land, but the entire world.

Moreover, Battlefield 1 Premium Pass is currently free on the Microsoft Store, with less than a day left to go on the promotion. This provides access to all of the expansions that have arrived for the game, including 16 maps, as well as weapons, vehicles, modes, and more.

Don't forget that only claimed Xbox 360 games will remain playable if a Gold subscription is discontinued, while claimed Xbox One games need an active subscription to play. There's still time left to go on a couple of previous Games with Gold titles as well, with Victor Vran being available for free until November 15.
