March Office 365 updates bring co-authoring in Excel, improvements to OneNote, and more

While co-authoring is already available for those using Excel Online, Excel on mobile platforms like Android, Windows Mobile, and iOS - Microsoft is now bringing that same feature to those who are part of the Office 365 Insider Fast ring on Windows PCs. . This new feature will bring a collaborative experience to your team, allowing users to see who is working on a document, and what changes are being made within seconds. Not content with just bringing this feature to Windows users, the team is also working on bringing co-authoring to Excel for the Mac.

That's not the only thing changing in March, as AutoSave is being added to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for those using it on Windows PCs. Specifically, this applies to files that are stored using Microsoft's online services like SharePoint Online, OneDrive and OneDrive for Business. Naturally, this should alleviate some worries, as the program will make sure to save whatever progress has been made on the document for you.

There have also been improvements made to OneNote and OneNote Online's Inking and Accessibility Checker features, along with tighter integration between Visio, Excel and PowerPoint. Be sure to check out the full list of improvements made to Office 365 components like Teams and Bookings, in the source link below.
