Office Lens update brings PDF support

Office Lens is one of the most useful camera applications on Windows Phone, allowing users to photograph and save physical documents easily.

For anyone dealing with lots of documents, presentations, receipts and other staples of modern office life, the Office Lens app is truly indispensable and it has just become even better. The latest update to the app, pushed last night, now allows for users to save documents directly in PDF format.

Of course users will still be able to select between Onenote, Word, Powerpoint formats as well as PDF now, and upload their scanned documents to OneDrive for safe keeping and easy access. And as per usual scanned text is automatically recognized using OCR.

In case you haven’t tried it yet, you should definitely give Office Lens a go, especially as it’s free and super easy to use.
