Send to Kindle buttons now available to publishers

Amazon has released Send to Kindle buttons for web publishers and Wordpress bloggers that allow users to send an article directly to their Kindle (even multiple Kindles at once). This makes it really convenient to read things later or for when you don't have an Internet connection.

Previously Kindle owners would have to add a browser extension, like the official Chrome one, if they wanted to do this, however these buttons allow website owners to make it much easier, especially for those who may be using browsers or platforms that do not support such browser extensions.

The Send to Kindle buttons can be added pretty easily to your website. After choosing text, font, icon color, size and a theme that matches your site, you tell Amazon how you mark the title, the author, publication date, the body of your webpage (Open Graph, schema.org, hNews, Custom CSS,) and also add options if you sell periodicals subscriptions. Once all this is done you'll be given the code to implement into your webpages. Or you can also go over to 'Plugins > Add New' on your Wordpress dashboard and search for 'Send to Kindle' or download the plugin on Wordpress.org.
