Microsoft's Mikhail Parakhin took to Twitter today to ask Bing Chat users if Microsoft should concentrate on making Bing Chat faster or making DALL-E 3.0 faster for Bing Image Creator

Microsoft has revealed a new bug bounty program created specifically to award researchers who find issues in its Bing AI experiences. Submissions could get up to $15,000 for each bug.

Microsoft has confirmed that OpenAI's recently announced DALL-E 3 AI art generator is now available for all users of Bing Image Creator. It's also been added to Bing Chat Enterprise.

The latest Bing Chat dev update includes a note that users will now get better chat responses if they are asking for directions. Also, mobile users can get access to live traffic updates.

Microsoft has now confirmed that its Bing Chat chatbot AI is available for all Chrome Stable version users on the desktop. It's also expanded Bing Chat Enterprise for Edge Mobile browser users.

The beta version of the Microsoft Launcher app for Android devices now allows users to access the Bing Chat AI chatbot, either in text or voice. There's also a new Bing Search widget.

The much requested No Search feature is now being tested with a small number of Bing Chat users, allowing those folks to get answers to questions without the chatbot searching the web.

Bing Chat Enterprises plans, which offers more security and privacy features for the Bing Chat chatbot AI for businesses and organizations, is coming soon to Microsoft 365 subscriptions.

The feature was discovered by someone who noticed this in the most recent Edge Canary build of the browser, which offers a shortcut to access Edge settings with Bing Chat voice commands.

Visual search, which was tested with a limited number of Bing Chat users for the past several weeks, will analyze images and, combined with text prompts, come up with answers based on the image.

While Microsoft didn't have an official Bing Chat development update this week, the company's team members posted some news on various features that have been tested or revealed this week.

The new Bing Chat media campaign is designed to help newcomers to Microsoft's chatbot AI by offering hints on what texts prompt to write, and which of the three Bing Chat modes to use.

Microsoft also added more visuals to answers in Bing Chat when asked about travel questions, and it confirmed the previously announced new chat turn limits to 300 daily and 30 per session.

The next Bing Chat update from Microsoft will also have some more improvements for Bing Image Creator, and a "big internals refactoring" so it can launch support for third-party plugins

Microsoft's proposed AI governance blueprint includes putting in new safety requirements, creating new regulations for AI services, and offering academic and non-profit access to those systems.

Adding Bing search to OpenAI's ChatGPT will bring more recent information to the chatbot, while the new Bing Chat plugin partners will include Expedia, Instacart, Kayak, Klarna, Redfin, and more.

The increase in characters from 2,000 to 4,000 for each Bing Chat message should make it easier for users to ask more complex questions to Microsoft's chatbot AI that might need the extra characters

Microsoft also confirmed that the chat history feature is now available for all Bing Chat users along with improved answers for recipe questions, and a number of other improvements.

The new features allow Microsoft's Bing Chat users to not only copy and share chats with others, but to download and save them in Text, Word, and even PDF files. More export options are in the works.

The announcement from Microsoft's Bing Vice President Michael Schechter, should allow even more people to check out the company's Bing Chat chatbot AI without having to get a Microsoft Account.

Bing Chat has gained the ability to provide visual answers to some questions, along with improvements in copying and pasting answers as well as formatting for some prompts like bullets and numbers.

Some current Bing Chat users are reporting that responses from the chatbot are very slow at the moment, but Microsoft says this will be fixed by adding more GPUs to its Bing Chat servers.

The new formatting will allow answers in Bing Chat to use features like bold lettering, along with answers in bulleted lists and tables when Microsoft's chatbot is in Creative mode.

The third-party plug-in support will allow businesses and developers to access Bing Chat's generative AI features, with ways to reserve a table at a restaurant directly from within Bing Chat.

In addition to the travel and recipes improvements, the Bing Chat team has made further changes to reduce the number of times the chatbot ends conversations abruptly, along with an Edge sidebar fix.

Microsoft exec Mikhail Parakhin was asked on Twitter if third-party plugin support for Bing Chat could be added like there is now for ChatGPT, and his response was simply, "Stay tuned."

Microsoft is starting to place links to ads inside of Bing Chat conversations. It is working with its Microsoft Start partners to place ads both inside chats or rich captions beside chat answers.
