Microsoft reveals Xbox fan events for E3 2014 in Los Angeles and online

As Microsoft's Xbox team gears up for its E3 2014 press conference on June 9th in Los Angeles, the company has plans to give its fans a chance to watch and even participate in several E3 related events, both in LA as well as online.

The Xbox Wire website has the details of Microsoft's Xbox E3 2014 schedule for fans. It actually begins on Sunday, June 8th at the Microsoft Store located in the Century City Shopping Center from 1-3 pm. 100 people who come to the store will get their names put in a raffle to be picked to attend the Xbox E3 press briefing at the Galen Center on Monday, June 9th. The line opens at 11 am for the store event, and Microsoft will also bring over some upcoming ID@Xbox games for the public to play.

As previously announced, Microsoft will offer a live stream of the Xbox E3 2014 press briefing, but before that happens it will stream a pre-show at 9 am Pacific time (noon Eastern) on the Galen Center's "green carpet" featuring interviews with Xbox game developers and unnamed celebrity guests. The press event gets underway at 9:30 am and lasts until 11 am. At 11:15 am, Microsoft will host a post-event show online at Twitch.tv/xbox, featuring Microsoft Xbox leader Phil Spencer and others taking questions from a live audience and via Twitter.

On Monday night, it's back to the Century City Microsoft Store location from 6-9 pm as Microsoft will give people a chance to go hands on with the upcoming Xbox One exclusive title Sunset Overdrive from developer Insomniac Studios. Finally, during E3 itself from June 10-12, Microsoft will be streaming live gameplay from many of its upcoming Xbox titles on Twitch. A full schedule will be revealed the week of E3 2014.
