Samsung will finally announce its findings about the Galaxy Note7 on January 23

The time has almost arrived when we can finally put the Galaxy Note7 saga to rest. Although it was discontinued nearly three months ago, the news surrounding the flaming handset still continues almost on a weekly basis with the reported efforts of purging units still in the wild, to FAA security procedures, and repeated reports that the firm would disclose its findings with regards to why the problem occurred in the first place. It is now anticipated that the firm will finally reveal its discoveries next week on January 23.

According to The Korean Times, Samsung officials have now announced that they will reveal to the public the results of its investigation. The company has been adamant about moving forward so that it can begin rebuilding trust with its consumers. Although there has been a tremendous amount of rumors circulating about the upcoming Galaxy S8, there is still caution in the wind when it comes to actually converting excitement into actual sales. The firm has set quite a lofty goal with its next handset, hoping to eclipse any previous sales figures by selling 60 million handsets by the end of 2017.
