Sonos announces trade-in discounts as part of new 'Trade Up' program

American electronics manufacturer Sonos announced today the launch of a new 'Trade Up' program. Previous customers who bought certain devices from the company and are looking to upgrade will be offered discounts if they decide to trade-in the older products.

The Santa Barbara-based company is offering 30% off all products for eligible customers under the newly-announced Trade Up program. Connect, Connect:Amp, ZP80, ZP90, ZP100, ZP120, and the first generation Play:5 are all valid devices and can be upgraded to any new Sonos device for 30% less than the in-store price.

Zack Kramer, VP, Retail at Sonos commented on the launch of the company's new benefit program:

"Our focus has always been to create a system of products that offer choice and sound great for years. As we’ve introduced newer generations of Sonos speakers and components, we built for the future, offering a step-change upgrade in hardware and software for even more power and capability. Today, we’re offering the opportunity to trade up to these new Sonos experiences.”

Those interested in trading in an older Sonos device may check if they are eligible to receive the trade-in discount on the designated website for the program. Customers need to fill out the necessary details online in order to receive the 30% off promotion.
