T-Mobile is giving away a free year of it, so here is what you get with Pandora Plus

A couple of weeks ago, during its Un-carrier Next event, T-Mobile announced that it would be improving its customer service with its new 'Team of Experts'. The wireless carrier also announced a new set of perks that would be arriving to T-Mobile Tuesdays, that included a free year of Pandora Plus service. That promotion will go live, starting today, so you might be asking yourself, what do you get with the service being offered? Let's find out.

Pandora has three tiers of service. The most popular out of the trio is Pandora Free, an ad-supported streaming radio service. Most have probably used this service at some point, listening to tunes through the internet, similar to how a radio works, offering up random songs in a genre of music you choose. But, if you weren't familiar, Pandora also offers paid services, one of which is its Premium service, while the other is called Pandora Plus.

Pandora Plus is its mid-level offering and what T-Mobile customers will be getting for free on August 28. The service will provide a streaming radio service without ads and will also allow give users the ability to download up to four stations for offline listening. The Plus service also features unlimited skips, replays, and higher quality audio. While it might not be the most flexible service, it does normally cost $4.99 a month for Pandora Plus. As mentioned before, Pandora does offer two paid services, so if you're looking for more, the Premium service might be more to your taste, offering on-demand listening, with the added benefit of being able to search for specific songs or artists, and playing the content, plus all the benefits of Pandora Plus.

If you have yet to dabble in streaming music services, T-Mobile's new promotion might be a good way to get acquainted. As mentioned before, this perk will be available for all T-Mobile customers through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app, which can be downloaded through Apple's App Store and the Google Play Store.
