Weekend PC Game Deals: Lunar New Year discounts shine through

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

Daemon X Machina free on Epic Games Store

Daemon X Machina dropped as the latest freebie from the Epic Games Store, replacing the Relicta giveaway from the prior week.

It is a third-person action title where you take control of an Arsenal mech in a fight against a faction of corrupted AI mechs named Immortals. The title comes with full customizable protagonist and mech, alongside multiplayer support in the form of cooperative play and head-to-head brawls.

The Daemon X Machina giveaway will last through the upcoming Thursday, February 3, and next up in the giveaway calendar is a copy of the platformer Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. Don't forget to grab the new $10 coupon while you're there claiming the freebie.

Humble Myst and More Bundle

At the same time, Humble brought in a new bundle that is especially interesting if you're looking for a full on Myst experience plus some bonuses.

The Myst & More Bundle has three items in its $1 tier, them being Myst: Masterpiece Edition, Spelunx and the Caves of Mr. Seudo, and Cosmic Osmo and the Worlds Beyond the Mackerel. Going up a tier get you paying the average price of the bundle, and add on Riven, URU: Complete Chronicles, Myst V: End of Ages, and The Manhole: Masterpiece Edition.

Lastly, putting down the full $10 for the bundle will get you all of the above, plus copies of Obduction, realMyst: Masterpiece Edition, Myst III: Exile, and Myst IV: Revelation. The bundle has almost two weeks left on its counter before it goes away with its goods.

EA has pulled in STAR WARS: Squadrons for a free weekend offer on Steam, making the starfighter combat title's campaign and multiplayer free-to-play until Monday, January 31. VR support is also a feature in the title.

Big Deals

Almost every major storefront is currently running Lunar New Year promotions. Epic Games Store has also brought back the $10 coupon for another run, but you do need to subscribe to the store's newsletter to grab it. You can only use it once this time.

Still, the yearly Steam promotion is what brings in the most deals. Here's our highlights list of big deals for you to browse this weekend, just make sure to double check your game subscription libraries too:

Of course, there is an enormous number of other deals ready and waiting if you comb through the interwebs hard enough, so keep your eyes open for those, and have a great weekend.
