Xbox Game Pass gains Flight Simulator, Crusader Kings III, Wasteland 3, and much more

Microsoft today announced a wealth of games coming to its Xbox Game Pass subscriptions on Xbox One and PC in the next couple of weeks. In addition to hits from third-parties, there are several Xbox Game Studios-developed titles included in the arrivals this time too, including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Wasteland 3, Battletoads, and Tell Me Why: Chapter 1.

Here's everything that's incoming in the second wave of August, which actually extends a few days into September to include a couple of big entries:

Xbox Game Pass for PC:

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator - Available now
  • Spiritfarer - Available now
  • Battletoads - August 20
  • Darksiders: Genesis - August 20
  • Crossing Souls - August 20
  • Don’t Starve: Giant Edition - August 20
  • New Super Lucky’s Tale - August 21
  • Tell Me Why: Chapter 1 - August 27
  • Hypnospace Outlaw - August 27
  • Wasteland 3 - August 28
  • Double Kick Heroes - August 28
  • Crusader Kings III - September 1
  • Resident Evil 7 Biohazard - September 3

Xbox Game Pass for Console:

  • Spiritfarer - Available now
  • Battletoads - August 20
  • Don’t Starve: Giant Edition - August 20
  • New Super Lucky’s Tale - August 21
  • Tell Me Why: Chapter 1 - August 27
  • Hypnospace Outlaw - August 27

As for the games that will be leaving the platforms soon, Microsoft shared the following:

  • Leaving August 31
    • Creature in the Well (Console & PC)
    • Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Director’s Cut (Console)
    • Metal Gears Solid 2 & 3 HD (Console)
    • Metro: Last Light Redux (Console)
    • The Jackbox Party Pack 3 (Console)
  • Leaving September 1 - NBA 2K20 (Console)
  • Leaving September 7 - Red Dead Redemption 2 (Console)

In addition to regular injections of games, the Xbox Game Pass subscription will be gaining cloud gaming support next month. Starting September 15, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members with Android devices will be able to enjoy over 100 games available on the service using the power of the cloud. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like iOS users will be gaining support anytime soon.
