Google highlights its top searches for 2015

With just a couple of weeks left before 2015 is over and a new year comes in, Google has published a list of the top search terms registered on its search engine; including search trends about the most important and most talked-about events about the departing year.

The top global trending search made in the search engine was former Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom, who is now having issues with his physical and mental health. Next in line is controversial satirical magazine and ISIS victim: Charlie Hebdo. Running in third is the game agar.io, which lets players control 'cells' in a petri dish, while fourth in the list is the Jurassic World movie. Lastly, Paris came in fifth, with people all over the world searching for the country on the internet to know more about the attacks that have happened there.

Regarding top trending news, Charlie Hebdo and Paris made the top 2. Hurricane Patricia also made the list, marking itself as one of the strongest cyclones ever recorded in the Western Hemisphere . Terrorist group ISIS came in at fourth, while Nepal came in at fifth place, brought about by the earthquakes that happened there.
