Microsoft Rewards now available in even more countries

For those not too familiar with the Bing search engine, Microsoft has offered those willing to make the leap from Google, the ability to earn rewards for many years now. This program, formerly known as Bing Rewards, was rebranded to Microsoft Rewards back in August of 2016. This change opened it up to a larger set of potential beneficiaries, among other things. However, one thing that has remained a thorn in the side of those outside of the U.S., is how limited its reach has been since then.

Microsoft Rewards has reportedly expanded to include countries like Italy and the Netherlands in their respective native languages this month, thanks to a tip sent to MSPowerUser. This broadens its reach to 21 nations - including the UK which joined in May of 2017 - where one can collect these credits while using the Bing search engine, taking quizzes, and shopping online at the Microsoft Store. These credits can then be used to purchase a range of items from the said store, including digital and physical goods. If the latest Surface Book isn't to your fancy, you can also donate them to a charity.

The full list of countries, regions, and languages supported now include:

  • Australia: English
  • Belgium: Dutch and French
  • Brazil: Portuguese
  • Canada: English
  • Canada: French Canadian
  • France: French
  • Germany: German
