Today, at its Build 2017 developer conference, Microsoft sprang quite a surprise on its dev community, and the assembled crowd of media and analysts attending the event. In a rather unexpected development, it revealed that Apple is bringing iTunes to the Windows Store.
It's not yet clear when iTunes will officially be available to download from the Store, but it's clear that Microsoft is working hard to populate its software marketplace with more of the most popular apps available on other platforms.
Today's announcement comes just over a week after it revealed that Spotify will be coming to the Store for PCs. It also announced today that Autodesk and enterprise software specialist SAP will be adding their apps to the Store in the coming weeks.
