Today is a big day for Microsoft's latest operating system. After months of careful rollout, Microsoft says Windows 11 is now ready for broad deployment, which means it is available for all (sort of).
Windows 11's latest optional update (KB5012643) is causing yet another problem, this time affecting .NET Framework 3.5 apps. Microsoft has released some workarounds but is working on a long-term fix.
Microsoft has now made KB5007262 generally available to all Windows 11 consumers. The update bumps the version up to 22000.348 and adds an updated emoji panel with Fluent 2D style emoji.
