Un-carrier 11 is all about thanking customers with free goods, stock and more

Today, T-Mobile CEO John Legere started Un-carrier 11 off by saying the movement this time would be all about thanking its customers.

To start things off, Legere announced 'T-Mobile Tuesdays', a new app that will be available for download starting today. The app will allow T-Mobile customers to get free prizes like food, drinks and movies. In addition to the goods mentioned above, every week there will be a new surprise gift; for example, this week's prize will be a free movie ticket to the upcoming movie Warcraft. To top things off, every week, users will have a chance to win a top prize, like travel, pizza parties for 40 and more.

The second component of Un-carrier 11 is 'Stock Up', which will give every primary account holder one unit of T-Mobile stock. To sweeten the pot, T-Mobile will also give an additional share of stock when you are able to refer others to sign up with the carrier. Those that have been with the carrier for more than five years will be able to gain two shares of stock per referral.

For the third part of Un-carrier 11, T-Mobile expanded on its Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi offerings by giving an hour of free browsing on flights, and branching out its free messaging offering to Google Hangouts, iMessage and Viber.

T-Mobile Tuesdays will start tomorrow, with prizes changing every week. The app can be downloaded on the Google Play Store or App Store.
