Apple iPhone X gets tear down, showing off its L-shaped battery and more

The iPhone X is almost upon us and it looks like some folks have gotten their hands on it early. But, what about dismantling it? While this is quite common nowadays with a huge smartphone release, it appears that not many have taken the time to deconstruct their precious iPhone X and see what makes it tick.

Luckily, there is at least one brave soul out there that has taken the time to take apart the latest from Apple and post it online. In the video that is just over 15 minutes, we can see some of the more unique pieces that separate the X from its iPhone 8 and 8 Plus siblings.

For one, you can see the mangle of cables that connect to the display and we also get a glimpse at the L-shaped battery that looks to be in two parts. While this isn't the most thorough tear down, in time, there will be clearer examples.

But, for now, this is an interesting look at the handset from a different perspective. The iPhone X is set to arrive in customer's hands tomorrow, while those who have yet to -pre-order one will have a chance to make their purchase at an Apple Store starting at 8am on November 3.
