Apple will reportedly reveal new Macs on October 27

According to a new report from Recode, Apple is planning its next big event for October 27. It's rumored that the company is to focus on Mac hardware this time, whereas last month's event saw the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, refreshed Apple Watch Series 1, and a new Series 2 model of its wearable device.

The main rumor is that there will be new MacBook Pro models with an OLED touchscreen bar on the keyboard. New MacBook Airs are certainly a possibility, but it's not likely that they'll be refreshed with a Retina display.

Don't expect to see any new MacBooks, as those have already been refreshed this year. Other than that, anything that's over a year old could be refreshed, which includes the Apple TV, 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and iPad Mini.

The timing of the event is fairly interesting, as it would be scheduled just a day after Microsoft's event on October 26, where the company is expected to unveil a Surface all-in-one, as well as show off the next feature update to Windows 10, which is currently called Redstone 2.

Apple hasn't formally announced anything or sent out invitations to the press, but we'll let you know when it does.
