AT&T will begin selling the RED Hydrogen One on Friday

AT&T announced today that beginning on Friday, November 2, it will start selling the RED Hydrogen One. The device promises the world's first holographic display, allowing you to take pictures and video in 3D, as well as play games and watch movies.

"The RED Hydrogen One is a welcomed innovation in a device space where iteration has
become the norm," said Kevin Petersen, SVP, Device and Network Experiences, AT&T. "Only
AT&T is offering customers the future of immersive entertainment to create and engage with
the content that matters most as well as two popular movies in 4-View at no extra cost."

The technology is called 4-View, and there are a variety of games already available, like Asphalt 8. There's some content available through RED's Hydrogen Network app, but full movies are coming, and the first 10,000 AT&T customers will get Ready Player One as well as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them for free.

Aside from the 4-View display, it comes with a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB RAM, and 128GB of storage. It also has a 4,500mAh battery, so it should last all day, There are dual 12MP cameras on the back, and dual 8MP cameras on the front, both of which are capable of shooting in 4-View, and both of which can capture 4K content.

The RED Hydrogen One will start at $43.17 per month, on a 30-month plan.
