Earlier this month, at its Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple unveiled the latest updates on the way to its operating systems: iOS 9, OS X El Capitan and watchOS 2. As expected, the three updates include a range of new features, along with improvements to the user experience across all devices.
Apple was quick to roll out its first betas, but the company has now reached a new milestone in the development of all three operating systems: beta 2. The updated OS releases are available to download via the Apple Developer site:
- iOS 9 beta 2 (build 13A4280e)
A full public beta of iOS 9 is expected to launch next month. Before then, Apple will roll out iOS 8.4, which is currently available to download as a beta 4 release
- OS X El Capitan beta 2 (build 15A204h)
The first public beta of OS X 10.11 is expected sometime this fall
- watchOS 2 beta 2 and San Francisco fonts (build 13S5255c)
Note that you'll need iOS 9 beta 2 in order to install this update. The public beta of watchOS 2 will arrive later this year
