Lenovo's ThinkBook C13 Yoga Chromebook Enterprise, is a mouthful to say, and after all, it's redundant branding. Think is already a business brand, so there's no need for 'Enterprise', and the C-series is for Chrome OS, so there's no need for 'Chromebook' in the name. Yet, here we are. It was announced in October as one of the first to use AMD's new Ryzen 3000C series processors.
You can get it with up to a Ryzen 7 3700C, which is a full 15W chip that's similar to the Ryzen 7 3700U. It's obviously using AMD's last-generation 12nm process unlike the newer 7nm chips that we're seeing today, but it's made for Chromebooks. Chrome OS is known for requiring lesser specs than Windows, so it sort of makes sense.
What's also interesting about the ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook Enterprise is that it has some Chrome OS design elements, and some ThinkPad design elements. The keyboard, trackpad, and even the TrackPoint are all traditional ThinkPad. Some things are different though, such as USB Type-C ports being on both sides of the laptop, rather than both of them being on the left side. There's also a physical volume rocker so you can easily adjust the volume while in tablet mode, and there's a world-facing camera on the keyboard deck.
The C13 Yoga is made of all aluminum, and it comes in a dark shade of blue. Indeed, it's not the standard black that you'd find on a ThinkPad. It comes with the usual built-in pen that you'll find on almost all ThinkPad convertibles, and it weighs in at 3.3 pounds. Check out the unboxing video below.
