Memorex updates product line for Windows XP

Memorex announced today a complete line of keyboards and mice, many compatible with Microsoft's new XP operating system. The updated line will consist of four ScrollPro mice, three keyboards and a wireless keyboard and mouse combination package.

Three of the new keyboards and mice will utilize wireless Radio Frequency (RF) technology, including the new Optical RF ScrollPro Mouse. Unlike Infrared (IR) devices that require the user to point the device in an unobstructed path to the CPU, Memorex RF technology allows users the freedom to effectively use their Memorex devices anywhere within the range of receiver without a direct unobstructed path.

"Our accessory line has been completely updated for optimal ease-of-use, state-of-the-art styling and technology that will support Microsoft's new XP operating system," stated Michael Golacinski, president of Memorex. "Consumers and retailers can specify these products knowing that they are ready for many years of carefree use and compatibility," continued Golacinski.

Products include:-

  • RF5700 Keyboard and Mouse bundle kit for $59.99 - includes a RF wireless 5-button mouse and keyboard with multimedia and Internet hot keys and removable soft-touch ergonomic wrist rest.
  • RF ScrollPro Optical Mouse for $49.99 - includes optical scrolling technology, programmable buttons, a MousePort docking station and maintenance-free use.
