Excel - Increasing Date Help
by Sir Topham Hatt- 1 follower

I have a speadsheet with a weeks worth of dates in each row. Is there a formula that I can use in the first one so the 6 below will automatically increase their day by 1? So if I put 01.04.21 in the first box, all the others will automatically change to 02.04.21, 03.04.21, 04.04.21... etc ? I have tried a few but it doesn't seem to work and even highlighting the first date, then dragging down and using the little autofill square (that appears next to the cell) doesn't have a "date" option.

Looking for foot traffic data or software
by BusinessGrower- 0 replies
Hi all, I have a brick and mortar shop and I've read some articles on how you can use foot traffic in your local business to analyze and optimize your business. I've seen some foot traffic data providers but they seem to be more enterprise focussed. I just need basic data to see at what time of the day / week my shop is most busy. I can use my POS payment data for that, but I'm mostly interested at what time nearby competitors having more or less foot traffic data. This way I know better when to run my special events/ marketing campaigns. Does anybody know any services that might be able to help me with that? Maybe the tech guys here can help me.

Here are some of my oldest screenshots: June 1999. I was about 13 years old. Windows 95's Control Panel on our Packard Bell MultiMedia 9030. April 2003. Unreal Tournament 2003, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Battlefield 1942. They take me back. I'm surprised I was using IrfanView, even back then (I still do, daily), and even more surprised that the logo/icon hasn't changed! I still use Winamp daily, too. June 2003. Looks like I was messing around with Serious Samurize. February 2004. KaZaA Lite, FlashFXP and Nero Burning ROM! March 2004. A photo of my system, including Planet Quake! …

Better way to Share Email?
by Sir Topham Hatt- 0 replies
My wife and I have our own separate Outlook.com accounts. We both want to be able to access an email account that is set up for joint things, so we set up a 3rd Outlook.com account. It seems when adding an Outlook.com account to another, it works for me but my wifes account just says the joint account needs IMAP access. I can't figure out how to do this as Outlook.com just mention POP not IMAP. And besides, I haven't changed anything with my connection to it - I just added it and that was that. Is there an easier way to do this?

Anyway to setup auto login for 2FA?
by Mockingbird- 14 replies
- 1.2k views
My university set up an annoying Two-Factor Authentication for all logins. Now, if I need to log in to anything, I get a phone call from the University 2FA and have to press a number (i.e. 1). It gets very annoying when it has to be done multiple times a day. ___________________________________________________________________ Is it possible to setup so that anytime I receive a call from the university's 2FA, the phone automatically pickup and dial 1 ?

Facebook data leak was NOT publicly scraped data
by Steven P.- 1 follower

@fufl0registered here to educate us that the "hackers" only scraped publicly available info from facebook in a news comment, but this is not true As can be seen, my mobile number is not in my About page (it is known to facebook for 2FA and verification) and my email address is and was always set to "Only me" yet both my mobile number and email address was exposed in the April 2021 hacker dump breach from Facebook. Don't let people tell you otherwise, it is a far more serious problem.

Anyone here from the Alamogordo area?
by +Biscuits Brown- 0 replies

I originally posted this in the subscribing member area and apparently we don't have anyone from the Alamogordo area so let's try the general population. My wife and I are considering the Alamogordo area as our retirement destination (partially astronomy related). We have family up in Albuquerque and over in San Diego and think that area would be a better location for us than here in north Dallas. We've lived in the desert before (Scottsdale area) so the hot and dry aren't new to us. We have more questions than we have answers about the area and getting info in the age of covid (and the New Mexico travel restrictions) has been a challenge.

Is anyone familiar with indeed prompting a reference letter. I'm not sure if this is something the company requested or if indeed is just trying to get me to waste time. All it says is 'request a reference letter from one of your connections. This reference letter will be sent directly to the employer of this job. Anyone have any idea?

Inkjet Sticker Paper - anyone use?
by Izlude- 0 replies
Hey again! I've been wanting to make my own stickers for a while. I watched some YT vids about it, everyone kept leaning towards this brand called LD (and their glossy sticker paper). I encountered another brand called Koala (matte)... I ended up going with LD's gloss first. They look great, but er... the ink scratches off pretty easily. It's not about wet ink or smudging, the ink is dry.. it just scratches off with the slightest abrasion. Putting the stickers on a phone case and into the pocket = big no-no.... What the heck am I going to do with 95+ sheets of this stuff? It only cost about $18, no big loss. What real world application merits such sticker pape…

Spotify HiFi; worth the premium?
by kiddingguy- 2 replies

Spotify is introducing Spotify HiFi. A nice add-on, but it is worth the premium price? (rumor has it between 5-10 $/€ a month extra) And.... do you really hear the difference between the standard/current Spotify and its HiFi on (a) AirPods Pro and/or (b) Sonon Play:5 Or it is just a gimmick to be in the race with Tidal and alike....

The web is becoming an annoying garbagefest 1 2 3
by Steven P.- 4 followers

If you aren't catfished into clicking on BS headlines that claim something and then end up being nothing more than clickbait with nothing of what is claimed in the headline (like for example "Air date for Strange New Worlds" and then it ends up claiming "sometime in 2021" those sort of articles). I immediately block these sites from Google News, which is mainly where it happens for me. Here are some annoyances in no particular order Random captchas showing up on sites I visit every week (like for example my local supermarket order online) without VPN, why then? North American sites denying entry for visitors from the EU (seriously F*** YOU!) …
